The Mishawaka Song Confessional

The pitch

Do you have a story that you think would make a great song? Anonymously turn YOUR stories into songs! Tell us a story, we send your stories to a network of musicians, and they might end up as a song!

What is it?

The Song Confessional is an installed recording booth at the Mishawaka open to the public, that anonymously collects recordings of people telling stories, then gives these confessions to some of today’s top songwriters, inspiring an original song with a podcast co-produced by NPR’s Austin affiliate radio station KUTX. Check out previously recorded songs HERE.

When can you come check it out?

The Mishawaka Song Confessional is located at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre and is now open during regular business hours! Come anonymously spill your secret stories next time you come for a show or a meal.

Tell me more!

Song Confessional, the mobile confession booth, recording studio and podcast that works with budding artists to turn recorded stories into songs, is launching a partnership with the Mishawaka Amphitheatre. Song Confessional will now have a permanent booth installation at The Mish, its first permanent location in Colorado, where the inaugural “CONFESST!” will take place. Stay tuned for future festivals!
