We Are Spotlighting Colorado Companies with Updated Menu Items

Mishawaka Amphitheatre will unveil an updated menu for the venue’s restaurant, bar and grill starting in May, along with summer season Saturday/Sunday breakfast service for early risers and outdoor enthusiasts eager to take in the scenic views at the historic Poudre Canyon destination. The new menu extends the noteworthy atmosphere of the venue and surroundings to the food and drink selections, and gives guests a variety of choices for intentional — and delicious — dining.

“The Mish is a distinctive and decidedly local establishment surrounded by natural beauty,” said Louie Leber, Mishawaka Amphitheatre food and beverage manager, “and we pride ourselves on offering a menu that elevates that experience.”

Leber added that, in addition to concertgoers, many Mishawaka visitors arrive at the venue before or after participating in the abundance of outdoor activities available along the wild and scenic Cache La Poudre River. “Our menu is carefully curated to appeal to hearty appetites and health-conscious customers alike, always keeping in mind the natural elements that make the Mish memorable.”

The new menu features the restaurant will roll out this season include a visual guide that will help patrons easily pick out locally sourced, natural or gluten-free options. Among the Colorado-based items on offer are custom corned beef sandwiches, bratwurst via family-owned Polidari Sausage, and Rocky Mountain oysters out of Ovid — all available with local craft beer selections from Oskar Blues, New Belgium, or the restaurant’s craft beer partner, Odell Brewing (makers of the exclusive custom-crafted Mish Ale). Fish options such as tuna, cod and ono are wild-caught, burger buns are non-GMO verified, and even the salsa is local — via Amy Lasley’s Rocky Mountain Salsa in Fort Collins.

For guests looking to breathe in the morning mountain air, breakfast service on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer from 8 – 11 a.m. will include options like Morning Fresh Dairy Noosa Yoghurt, and organic herbal tea (in compostable packaging) from Basalt, Colorado-based company Two Leaves and a Bud. Thoughtful selections such as ecoStick GMO-free sweeteners to save space and reduce waste, and choosing to use Colorado-made fryer oil from family-owned Jensen Foods impart the Mish local, natural ethos as well.

“We are looking forward to another beautiful summer at The Mish, and we can’t wait to serve up our new selections and share our enthusiasm for quality food and drink with our guests,” Leber said.
