Pickin’ on the Poudre with Head For The Hills, Paper Bird, and Caribou Mountain Collective
In and around Fort Collins, Pickin’ on the Poudre is widely considered to be a signal that Summer has begun. Fresh off the release of their new album, Potions and Poisons, Head For The Hills was on fire for their triumphant return to the Mishawaka Amphitheatre. The boys of H4TH just might hold the record for most headlining shows at the Mish, and this time they brought some amazing talent with them. Up and comers in the Bluegrass scene, Caribou Mountain Collective gave a solid opening set. Colorado favorites Paper Bird delivered soothing harmonies and solid back beats that got everyone thoroughly prepared for the closing set by Head For The Hills, a band that somehow just keeps getting better.
Pictured: Seriously SWEET harmonies.
Matt of Head For The Hills, totally lost in the moment. Earlier he and an intern found a dead mouse in the green room. It did not affect his performance.
This many hands in the air is always a good sign.
