On the River and in the Crowd: Le Youth and Friends at The Mishawaka | September 12th

The crew had an incredible time relaxing in the early evening as fans trickled up from Fort Collins. This was not a typical show day for The Mishawaka, as Le Youth had a different vision for what this show was going to look like. Le Youth wanted to be immersed in the crowd and take on a more personal feel compared to being up on the stage. He had his DJ Booth set directly in front of the stage and fans were ecstatic to have him right next to them.

The openers took the stage at 6:45pm, wasting no time to play their set in the daylight. Fans gathered around the barricade and fully embraced the electronic music of Black Wands and GOLDSTAR from Denver Progressive House. Their energy was unmatched and was exactly what fans needed to get pumped up for Le Youth’s set to follow.

Le Youth made everyone wait no longer, by 8:00pm he came on full of energy and had an incredible line up of songs loaded up to share with the concertgoers around him. Playing classic songs such as his mix “Feel Around You” with LeyeT, another mix including “Messy” by Lola Young, and much more, he kept the vibes high. Le Youth was constantly in the crowd giving everyone hugs, holding hands, and dancing with them to show love and gratitude to all who attended.

He ended his set with a Pompeii remix, walking out into the crowd fully embracing the final show of his tour. It was truly a magical moment for all who attended, as the stars twinkled above and fans absorbed all the energy around them. Le Youth has been playing every single weekend since May and we were so lucky to have him end his run on home turf, at The Mishawaka.
