Mish’n Booster: Funding the Dreams of Local Organizations through Charity

Since 2017, the philanthropic program known as the Mish Initiative has been supporting local organizations that share our values: music, community, integrity, sustainability and tolerance. Through our grant programs, we have made it easier for these groups to fund their respective projects. This year the Mish’n Booster committee approved $5,500 to six different groups. The goal of Mish’n Booster is to improve our community by supporting events and organizations in the pursuit of their goals. And this season’s winners are….

The Magnolia Sessions create a platform for local musicians to record music videos and release to the public. $1,000 awarded.

iAMMusic institute throws a weekly concert series every fall in Durango, CO. $1,000 awarded.

Kayla Marie Adsit Foundation sponsors the music programs within the Poudre school district. $1,000 awarded.

Cloverlick Banjo shop throws an Earth Day event that is a fundraiser for their non-profit called Sustain Music and Nature, creating relationships between music industry and environmental organizations. $1,000 awarded.

Homeward Alliance (formerly Homeless Gear) will put on it’s inaugural homeless awareness day event in Fort Collins this fall. $500 awarded.

The Sustainable Living Association just recently put on the annual Holler!ween music festival. $1000 awarded.
